Q: How Does the Water Tight Door Work?

A: Step-in Tub has 2 plastic seals built into the door. This is a backup system required by the US plumbing code, in case 1 seal breaks there is still another seal to prevent leakage. Additionally the pressure of the water inside the tub further compresses the door seal making it completely leak proof. Step-in Tub guarantees the door seal for life.

Q: How easy is it to install a Step-in Tub?

A: Our product is the exact same dimension as your regular bathtub. All you do is remove your old bathtub and put ours in it’s place. Our 1"flange surrounding our tub makes it easy to attach to the wall. Our skirt on the front of the tub gives it a beautiful look without the need for tiling.      

Q: Can Users Also Take Showers?

A: Yes, Step-in Tub is the same as your regular tub. Your shower equipment remains the same as it was before. You can use your shower the same as you were doing before.

Q: Does your tub have water jets or air jets?

A: No, our tub does not have any jets. We left them out to keep the cost down and to avoid the numerous repair and cleaning problems associated with them.

Q: Does your tub have a molded seat?

A: No, our tub does not have a molded seat but we have an option for a power seat that will gently lower you and raise you up again.
